An Ode to 22

American culture dubs eighteen as one's "coming of age" year. However, I personally experienced this at age twenty two. In less than an hour I will be twenty three years of age and I am currently experiencing two opposing emotions. On one hand, I am enthusiastic and driven to make huge changes at this age. On the other hand, I am somewhat nervous of what the future holds. This post is serves as an ode to twenty two. With it came happiness and excitement. A few curveballs here and there were thrown my way but all of it shaped and molded me into who I am today.
