In the mist of my sleep deprived, hectic and draining week, I squeezed in a little time to have some blogger-related fun. On Friday, I attended Samelia's Champagne and Cupcakes Beauty and Fashion Blogger Mixer. Samelia, the wonderful host, planned this event because unlike other fashion capitals, Los Angeles noticeably lacks a strong blogger network presence. In order to lessen this issue, she planned this wonderful event for beauty and fashion bloggers alike to kick-back, relax and have some fun.
The mixer was held at Baby Bea's Cupcakes, a fairy-tale like bakery shop nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills. I was in awe of the well-lit storefront and exceptional selection of deserts that were on display. I did not eat before the event so I was able to divulge in a handful of mini-cupcakes.
It was wonderful to be able to pick the brains of bloggers and although we all came from different blogger backgrounds we all shared one thing in common--our drive to establish a strong Los Angeles blogger network.
The night ended well with my sister and I winning the raffle [peep some of the prizes below].

As I reflect back on this event, I can't help but think how happy I am to have found some blogger friends in Los Angeles. For any of my readers who live in the greater Los Angeles area do you think that LA lacks a strong blogger community and if so, how should we address this?
